Flying Words

Silent is my pen
Words are flying around
Like humming bees
Moving the air
Like a light summer breeze
Playful and cheerful as butterflies
I am unable to catch them
Blank is the page in front of me

And perhaps
These words are not to be written
But only to be heard from within
And then I am the blank space
In which they create
Their own poetry
Without needing a pen, a page
Even without needing me

Blue Moon Super Moon
Let me bathe in your white glow
Light my shadows
Burn away the darkness
And I will dance on its ashes
With every fiber
Of my soul

Stars weave dreams
High up in the sky
I plant their seed
Here down into the earth

Moon of manifestation

No mask that gives hold

Arcadia

Let me tell you
about Arcadia
A landscape as wide
as the eye
can reach
With clear blue skies
as high as the mind
can think
The land where
wild roses grow
Their hearts
always open
Fields of red, yellow
purple and green

Will you come to me
here in Arcadia
This space in between
Where veils to
other worlds are thin
And dreams are realer than real
Where words and sounds
are being created
Where songs originated
and poems spring
from within
And where everything
is just as perfect
as it may seem

Will you stay with me
here in Arcadia
As king and queen
in this palace
on fertile ground
This source of creation
Where life awakens
To eyes that truly
wish to see

Love Isn’t Tough

How can love
ever be tough
As it not love that hurts
Love never hurts

Though you seek outside
And you then get wounded by
a mirage of your own
doubtful thoughts

Look within
and you will find
him, your beloved

In a heart that beats
love fearlessly
through your veins
In lungs that breathe
love unapologetically
in and out
In eyes that perceive
love in its purest form

As within so without

See him in the roses
that are still there
even though winter arrived
Feel him in the wind that strokes
your face
Hear him in a bird’s
joyful song at sunrise

And then tell me
if love is tough

Wings of trust will catch you

The clouds are ours
We color the sky
I paint with words

A sparkling symphony
of life and love

We make fire in the sky
The heavens are quaking

are at our side

in the realm of

Today is a good day
to leave her shell of shyness

of her comforting cocoon

She went down
into the depths of darkness
Where she allowed death
to free her
from the entanglement
in the nets of mind
As she was made
to reach up
into the heights

She stands on the leaf of a tree
Let her translucent wings be dried
by the touch of a new wind
Rising perfectly
into imperfection

Reborn
Renewed
Refreshed

One
more breath
One
more moment
of not yet

Before she spreads
her wings
And takes flight

Her
Monarch

I wish you could see
The beauty of the roses
in the backyard
Even though
Your eyes might not see
them no more,
They keep on
blossoming

Roses
Untouched
by what once happened
between two hearts
That were afraid
of the thorns

Seen by my eyes
Their colour of deep pink red
Their seductive scent
That caress
the air
I breathe
Rose petals wide open
to receive
The light of your eyes
once more

The Unfolding Story

The river at my feet
Water in motion
A story unfolding
Words give me wings
To see things
from above like flying
birds see
The water underneath

Just a simple love story
That flows through time
and space
About a man and
a woman,
A match made in heaven,
That came
across the rocks in the river
on earth
Though whatever happened
And wherever it may go
It is not the end yet
Water continues
to flow
Adam and Eve
Romeo and Juliet
All that came before
Whatever has been told
about them,
Whatever may be written
Their love beyond the story
can’t be caught
in words

Ocean Of Peace 

I float in my own ocean
An endless space
of peace
and love
Carried by the waves
Water that is deep
and calm
And I am filled with grace

Though then the thoughts arise:
‘What if the storm is real
and this is just a dream’
‘What if dark clouds will push the sun away’
‘What if the waters will be rough again
And I will sink in deep’

My fears arise and make
Ripples in the water
On the surface
Of my ocean

Then I hear
a voice from within:
‘It is up to you
Do you let the sharks come in
Do you make
them appear
or disappear’
I choose.

I fall back in my own ocean
This endless space
of peace
and love
Carried by the waves
Water that is deep
and calm
And no sharks any near

I didn’t look
for love
Though love found me
And put
a fire in my soul
I didn’t know
That I have always known
You
The mirror of
my soul

I fall down on my knees
in this holy house of love
Truth is blissful
Blessed and grateful
As veils of illusions
are pulled aside
I say a prayer
of naked words

My heart is a lighthouse
That brightly shines its light
So that you can find
your way home
To love
you
is the closest thing
to God

Is it true
that today
heaven’s blue looks
even bluer than blue?
And the houses of white
are brighter than bright?
People who pass by
give me their smile
And palm trees
of greenest green
wave excitedly at me
Doves do a love dance

Leaving Leaves

The Fall falls down
Heavy on my shoulders
Harvest moon that shines
Upon the lovers’ souls
Blessed is the Autumn wind
That takes us far from here
And blows us
into the comfort of our dreams

Soon you will leave this land
Like the leaves leave the tree
Though there is no goodbye
Always a welcome
To the one I hold dear

And we both know
Winter will knock at our doors
Cold will push us inside
But then let us warm us
With the promise of Spring

I am on the other side of the river bank
And I hold my cup of love
up high
Precious nectar of the heart
that flows
Shimmering divine
I’d like to offer it to you
But I came from far
and I’m so tired and thirsty
now
So let me drink it first
Then please choose
If you’d like to drink
from this sacred cup of mine
If your heart is open
to receive
‘Cause this cup of deepest love
is for the braves
Who are willing to lose
everything they once believed in
And maybe
You too would like to share
your cup with me
And unblind me
with your truth
We only have a bridge to cross
So let us meet halfway
Let us be drunk by love
Drunk by our truth

The heavens open up
I flow with the water
Tears merge with raindrops

Wounds are aching

I am at peace

If She Were A Tree

Leaves fall down
The wind gives wings
And
gently brings
them to the ground

The tree
That stands
Firmly rooted
in the earth
Branches reach
Up into the sky
Moved
By the rhythm
Of the seasons

If she were a tree
Then he would be her sun
Rays of purest light
Would feed her
She would blossom
Bear the fruits with pride
And then
let them go,
let them fly down
with the wind,
merge with the earth
And let it again
feed her

I have my cave
To shelter
The pole star
to guide me
A fire
to warm me
In this cold night

What else could
I do
