Now the storm is raging
And lightning splits
The dark sky
Wild dreams hunt
The ones
Who are without sleep

I have my cave
To shelter
The pole star
to guide me
A fire
to warm me
In this cold night

And I wait
the storm
To pass
The sun to rise
Free are the ones
Who embrace
Whatever may come

What else could
I do
What more would

Not Too Late

In the streets
Underneath the balcony
Bars are open
People talk
We no more
A guitar plays
A melody of ours
Church bells ring
Announce a late hour
At which there is
Still a song to sing
Laughter to hear
It might be not too late
If we only keep on dancing
Till the morning hour

The Wolf

I am the lonesome wolf of the forrest.
I can’t be caught
But my eyes catch everything.
My heart loyal to my beloved other one.
He whom I can see
when I look into water mirrors.
The moon is my ally.
She reflects on me
what I reflect on her.
And when she is at full strength
I cry out to her
Bathe in her pure light
Purge what is inside
Let her lighten my ways
When I wander
through dark nights
and gone days
Here in the forrest
of lost souls
