Crystal Tears

My love, rest in my arms
Let me hold you so closely
My naked body as a second skin
around you
that protects you from
the fierce wind that blows

Your tears, just let them flow
on my skin
Each is a crystal
Each holds the memory,
the longing for love
In each I see the mirror image of me

See how they slowly run down on my body
My fertile soil that takes and
transmutes them into gold
See how we both make roses grow
and bloom with those tears
and create our meadow of love,
our heaven on earth

Black Crows And White Birds

And there are the black crows of the past again
I thought they had already gone
Though they come fly over
to stir old wounds and hurt
I hear them caw to me issues
of rejection, of abandonment,
of exclusion and
the fear of losing love

But I heal, I clean and I release
All they have polluted
As they come to test me
How strong I stand in love
And if I can believe despite everything

The black crows and the ego birds,
the false beliefs,
all the hurtful thoughts
I let them fly, I set them free
And then I wait
for the white birds
to come in

Ocean Of Peace

I float in my own ocean
An endless space
of peace
and love
Carried by the waves
Water that is deep
and calm
And I am filled with grace

Though then the thoughts arise:
‘What if the storm is real
and this is just a dream’
‘What if dark clouds will push the sun away’
‘What if the waters will be rough again
And I will sink in deep’

My fears arise and make
Ripples in the water
On the surface
Of my ocean

Then I hear
a voice from within:
‘It is up to you
Do you let the sharks come in
Do you make
them appear
or disappear’
I choose.

I fall back in my own ocean
This endless space
of peace
and love
Carried by the waves
Water that is deep
and calm
And no sharks any near
