I close my eyes and
with each breath,
each inhalation
I take you deeper in
deeper into my chest
my heart, my belly
where air stokes fire
until each part of me
flows and burns with you

thoughts of you
around me
to protect me from
the dark,
the madness of
the world outside
and to keep me
safe and warm
at night

The airspace between us
may have been closed,
We keep crossing continents
as we travel by heart

To know that we are never alone
Even in the darkest night
with no one physically around
we have each other with us
in our hearts

Ego will fog up the mirror
where love will cleanse it
to make the true image
of self visible

The sun shines on my face
as a fierce wind blows around me
that makes hair and skirt flutter

Sun and wind cooperate
and remove
the last parts of winter,
the last storylines,
the last fears and darkness
They shine and blow it
off my shoulders,
off my mind and heart
so I can blossom even more,
even brighter in loving you
and in trust

Wherever my heart may take me
the roads I will go
the worlds and dreams I may travel
the poetry I may write
the things I am guided to do
Each step, each path, each word
will always lead me to you

When there’s disharmony
around me
I find harmony
in the synchronized beats,
the flowing melodies
of our hearts

Oh the places I’ll write,
the places I’ll dance
my poetry for you

I’ll write on your lips
I’ll write on your cheeks
I’ll write on your mind
I’ll write in your dreams

I’ll write the places you go
the places you’ve been
the places you long for

Every corner of your world
Every spot of your body,
your heart, your soul

I’ll travel, I’ll dance
and I’ll write
these places all again
until you’ll see
your world is
nothing but love
and poetry

I may look strong
and I am, my love, I am
But besides my strength,
what others may not see,
I am sensitive, naked
and vulnerable
and in moments like these
I just long
to be held by your arms
to lean my head
on your chest
and be carried by you

While riding my bicycle
in the early morning
I smile along with the sun
to give it extra power
to charge the moon
on your side of the world
so it will make
your nightly dreams glow
even more

Happiness is
when there are many reasons
to be unhappy
but there’s just one moment needed,
a moment of connecting with
my heart and feeling
the love flow between us,
to feel happy

We’ve been in so many stories
Our minds entangled in narratives
But stories of the past were
created by the past
They are not the present moment
They are not the future

For if all stories have ended
the book is closed
what still continues
beyond the pages
written in our hearts
is the story of love
what lies before us is
a new story of us

On the surface
it may look like
the rose in the shades
has been abandoned
and ignored
by the sun
and this could easily
have panicked her

But in fact,
if she just stays
where she is
rooted in herself
she will see
that the sun
just makes his turn
in his circle
to find her again
while constantly
whispering
rays of light
within her heart
as there,
in the depth
he never left her

in your depths
Find me nude
in your emotions
Find me kissing you
on the inside
Find me as
your high priestess
in your gut feeling

and tap into this source
deep within your soul

The sun shines through the window
Birds sing their songs
And I welcome the morning
serene in Sukhasana
The palms of my hands
kiss each other before my chest
My heart kisses yours
when I connect with my inner sun
And then I welcome you

It’s cosy inside
when the rain taps
against the window
at night
Its rhythm a beat
to my heart song
that sings of you

And then all those
I miss you’s
I keep them outside
they may tap
like raindrops
against the window,
I let the tune of love
set the tone tonight

There’s a world behind your eyes
when they look at me from the picture
and reveal a whole spectrum
of sadness and nostalgia

Your eyes that are separated
from mine
A camera, a screen in between them
Though in your hands
you firmly hold the music,
A guitar that gives access to
a world of art where we connect

And my eyes look in yours
and erase the time lapse
erase the screen
erase the sadness
when they hold your eyes
in the depth of love

I like to be
on my own
to have no
distractions
of the world
to shut off
the outer voices
and images
to go inward
and connect
with the soul
for there,
I find the world
with you

A thousand words flutter
around inside of me
They all eagerly want to tell
you something
Though they don’t want
to cooperate
and make just one poem
as each word already is
a confession of love,
a melodic poem on its own

The body may suffer
from sickness and ache
The mind may spin around
in frightening thoughts
Emotions may make
big waves inside
But there’s always something
that is above all,
untouched
peaceful on higher ground
– when I connect with you
in love

When I lie in bed
and I feel too sick, too tired
to write a poem
I close my eyes
and let you, my poet,
take over
to write the poetry
of our hearts
while I sleep

a loving thought
of you
it fires a little light
into the cosmos
that’s how those
billions of stars
were born
as love itself
created them

Winter Wonderland didn’t last long
this morning
for when she turned on her heart
and stoked the fire inside
all snow instantly melted
and underneath green grass appeared
as a soft carpet
for her and her fairy man
to dance their fairy tale into Spring

From a dark place of nightmares
a songbird wakes me up
that sings his joyful song
of a new dawn
underneath my bedroom window

I get up and look outside
the world is covered with snow
Like a new blank page on which
it invites me to write my poetry

And my songbird continues
to sing his song in my heart
until all dark is gone
And as his tunes fill me
with light and love
my poetry starts to write itself
on the page of a new day

and you’re
so much you
A smile twinkles
in your eyes
Flowers grow
on your chest
as love blossoms
from your heart

And the word beautiful
is not beautiful enough
to describe
how beautiful you are

with nightmares

the thought of you,
feeling you
