when we immerse ourselves

I close my eyes and
with each breath,
each inhalation
I take you deeper in
deeper into my chest
my heart, my belly
where air stokes fire
until each part of me

the madness of

and to keep me
safe and warm
at night

We keep crossing continents
as we travel by heart

with no one physically around
we have each other with us

Ego will fog up the mirror
where love will cleanse it
to make the true image
of self visible

The sun shines on my face
as a fierce wind blows around me
that makes hair and skirt flutter

Sun and wind cooperate
and remove
the last parts of winter,
the last storylines,
the last fears and darkness
They shine and blow it
off my shoulders,
off my mind and heart
so I can blossom even more,
even brighter in loving you
and in trust

what others may not see,

I smile along with the sun
to give it extra power
to charge the moon

to be unhappy
but there’s just one moment needed,
a moment of connecting with
my heart and feeling

Our minds entangled in narratives
But stories of the past were
created by the past
They are not the present moment
They are not the future

For if all stories have ended
the book is closed
what still continues
beyond the pages
written in our hearts
is the story of love
what lies before us is
a new story of us

it may look like
the rose in the shades
has been abandoned
and ignored
by the sun
and this could easily
have panicked her

But in fact,
if she just stays
where she is
rooted in herself
she will see
that the sun
just makes his turn
in his circle
to find her again

rays of light
within her heart
as there,
in the depth
he never left her

Birds sing their songs
And I welcome the morning
serene in Sukhasana
The palms of my hands
kiss each other before my chest
My heart kisses yours
when I connect with my inner sun

when the rain taps
against the window
at night
Its rhythm a beat
to my heart song
that sings of you

And then all those
I miss you’s
I keep them outside
they may tap
like raindrops
against the window,
I let the tune of love
set the tone tonight

There’s a world behind your eyes
when they look at me from the picture
and reveal a whole spectrum
of sadness and nostalgia

Your eyes that are separated
from mine
A camera, a screen in between them
Though in your hands
you firmly hold the music,
A guitar that gives access to
a world of art where we connect

And my eyes look in yours
and erase the time lapse
erase the screen
erase the sadness
when they hold your eyes
in the depth of love

to have no
distractions
of the world
