Love Remains

I am here far away
Without you by my side
The sun that sets
My heart on fire
Light that fades

It’s not dark yet
I want to hold
I want to keep
My hand that grasps
My eyes that catch
Images of yesterday

And I am here
Thoughts that spin
Spiders creep
All the fears
That are
surrounding me

I face
The sun that sets
Down to earth
When nothing is left
All is gone
Only love remains

The Wolf

I am the lonesome wolf of the forrest.
I can’t be caught
But my eyes catch everything.
My heart loyal to my beloved other one.
He whom I can see
when I look into water mirrors.
The moon is my ally.
She reflects on me
what I reflect on her.
And when she is at full strength
I cry out to her
Bathe in her pure light
Purge what is inside
Let her lighten my ways
When I wander
through dark nights
and gone days
Here in the forrest
of lost souls
