The Red Thread

Scared that I will lose you
That you will float away from me
like a balloon in the air
And that I will never see you again
But while tears of despair
run down my cheeks
I see you in front of me
You point at your heart
then you point at mine
There is a red cord that connects
both of our hearts
‘Do you see this’, you say,
‘How can you ever lose me
with this strong energetic thread,
that forever bonds us?’
