And I look at my work
All the poems, the stories,
the songs I have written
One by one
I catalogue them,
honour and preserve them
in our library of love
Each is a step in our journey,
a piece of the puzzle,
a stone of the cathedral
a truthful testimony
Documented with
the ink of true love

Thank you so much! I’m seriously cataloguing it all and storing it better. I always write on my cell phone as I write everywhere 🙂 so my work is only on my blog. But if the digital world explodes, my work is gone too. I have written more than 800 poems/stories/songs here so now I’m putting it together in Word documents… it will keep me busy for a while 😉

You are welcome. That is a great idea. I’ve done that with all my work. I write most of it on my laptop or in a journal but it all ends up being typed and printed as well as backed up on an external hard drive. Like you, I’ve written and recorded a lot of material that I want to preserve. So far I have more than 1000 pieces of work and I have more to go. Good luck with the cataloguing and digitizing 🙂 🙂

Yes true! Because I seriously thought, what if I will die tomorrow and nobody is going to pay for my WordPress site? Then all is gone and deleted. That thought made me sad. I want my work to be immortal just like my soul 🙂

Yes,, we never know when that day will come. I have all my passwords to all my accounts in a fire safe box and I have duplicate keys which have been given to younger family members with instructions. Many of us don’t think of these things. I am sure your work will live forever 🙂
