If you would be Osiris
Then I would be your Isis
As king and queen
they ruled the land of ancient Egypt
Together they fought the dark
Osiris got killed,
his body disappeared
But like Isis, I would mourn and weep
And would look for you everywhere
I would seek all over the land
to get back all the pieces of you
And then I would use the fire
Use my great magic
to breathe life back into you
And when all the dark would be defeated
We would be reunited for eternity
for true love even overcomes death
and its sacred kingdom has no real enemies

I love all things Egyptian, including the mythologies. True love never ends and its temple can never be destroyed. You’ve written this perfectly 🙂

Thank you! Yes I love those old stories too. Also the Roman and Greek mythology. Although they can be quite cruel (I don’t like the violence) the symbolism is beautiful.
Indeed, true love survives anything.

You are welcome. Me, too. I studied Roman History while in college and have always been infatuated with early Roman/Greek history. Of course, most civilizations were built on a tremendous amount of violence but you are right, the symbolism is fantastic.

Yes history is interesting. I live in the oldest town of the Netherlands, founded by the Romans 2014 years ago so I see the traces of Roman history every day here.

Aw, so lucky you are to be steeped in that kind of history. I love history, too.
