Let Love In

And sometimes it’s good
to put down the pen
to take a pause
and be like the white
of the paper
and hold space
to receive the words

And instead of only
sending love out,
letting love in,
letting you in

To open the blinds
before my heart
and let the rays of your sun
shine its love letters
on my inside
