It may look like
the moon is not there tonight
but what no one can see
is that behind a curtain of clouds
she has her own heart-to-heart time
with her beloved, the sun
They exchange
She receives him deeply within
And as they dance silently
in devotion to each other
they make the seas move on earth
in undulating passion
of ebb and flow
