Seeing Through

When I close my eyes
I see you
When I open them again
I see you
You’re everywhere
in my reality
in my inner and
in the outer world
even when your feet
are not near

Like everything around us
is just a film
and not real
and my heart can reach
through the screen
to see the truth behind the veil
to see you there
always close to me
