the thought of you rises
within me like the sun
to herald a new day
while my heart starts

as words jump
up and down
and run everywhere
in a head that aches
I let the stars write
a poem for you
so just look up tonight
to read my verse

When there’s so much to think
so much ache in the head
so much to be pulled into
to look back at
or to move to
let’s step out of the carousel
and be still
hold me
and let’s just feel
the love

Whatever turmoil
may be going on
inside or outside of us
I find tranquillity by
connecting to you
connecting to love
As we always have
a special place
to meet each other
inside our heart

embraces,
goes beyond
and is bigger than
this world
then even if people
may have
opposite beliefs
and opinions
by loving you
I learn to love
the whole world

without sound
cross night and day
cross the ocean
as they find their echo

and you wonder

know that even if things

but is around us
and unites

Outside authorities
tell us what to do
how to behave
what to avoid
what is allowed
and what is forbidden
they make rules
and restrictions
But the only authority
to obey and to follow
is that of your heart
where the love inside of you
will lead your way

two swans in union,

As Saturn and Jupiter
are conjunct tonight
and shine together as one
as the long-awaited Christmas star
to bring a message
of hope and love
at the Winter Solstice,
the darkest day of the year,
go up with me into the heavens
we cross the ocean between us
and meet halfway
to have our own cosmic kiss

and aching
and I cannot clearly think
and find words
then it’s time
to only feel
to feel you
and feel so much,
vast, high, poetic and deep
into what we feel
when we feel each other

others put on you
with how many stars
they review you
we’ve seen
the innumerable stars
in each other’s eyes
that no one
can give or can take from us
as they are lit
by the love in our heart

in the outside world
But turn them inward
as there,

all that you seek

In the evening silence
I hear the clock
ticking away
all our yesterdays
as my heart beats
to our timeless love

It can rain in many ways
Rain can fall short and heavy
or it can fall long and soft
but enough to make you drown
Ice cold or bittersweet
light, grey or stormy

The sun can shine in many ways
it can burn hot, ecstatic
gently comforting or tingling
And although a cloud
can try to cover it
it will never fade
but always shine on
as the hope, the inner knowing
within the rain

When she tries to run away
from the dark
tries to hide
to cover her eyes
but wherever she goes
wherever she looks
back or forward
it all seems so dark,
she forgets that
she has nothing to fear
for she has light in her heart
she only needs to shine love brightly
and then the dark will run away
from her

Fly with the speed of thought
across the ocean
and lie here with me in my arms
feel me all around you
and rest
Rest in the knowingness
that we don’t need to fear or
to struggle
we don’t need to do or
to achieve anything
but we only need to be
in love
