I am here far away
Without you by my side
The sun that sets
My heart on fire
Light that fades

It’s not dark yet
I want to hold
I want to keep
My hand that grasps
My eyes that catch
Images of yesterday

And I am here
Thoughts that spin
Spiders creep
All the fears
That are
surrounding me

I face
The sun that sets
Down to earth
When nothing is left
All is gone
Only love remains
