Within Her Words

Marieke,

She shows strength and bravery
in her words
With which she builds
cathedrals of poetry
But inside her self-created buildings
she often is
just a small and scared girl
That longs for her own words
to guide and mother her

  1. The juxtaposition between what we do outwardly compared to what we do inwardly is beautifully captured here. I love the image of cathedrals of poetry, too. Awesome, as always.
