Morning Coffee

I sit on the couch
My legs tucked
I drink a coffee
The clock is ticking
I tap the cup
with my fingers
I sigh
My eyes stare
My heart misses
Through the window
a morning sun shines
I wonder,
You on the other side
of the world
Where the night has fallen
Do you see me
in your dreams
Like I dream you
in the morning sun
