The Echo

My heart cries out for you
Over the mountains, down into the valleys
Over the rivers and the seas
Over the towns and the villages
Over the woods and the fields

Through thunder and lightning
Through the rain, the storm
and through the clouds

And then I listen to the echo
that rolls back over the mountains,
the valleys and overseas
Or do I hear your heart
that is crying out for me?
