When Christmas Came

Maybe Christmas came too early this year
And I wasn’t ready yet,
We weren’t ready
As it came but it didn’t bring us together

And then the darkness was dark
The sun seemed far away
And the waters were flowing

But maybe Christmas came to teach
To find the light even in darkness
And to be like a cat and always look for the sunny spots
