Yes she will love him into eternity
And she will wait for him always
Even if it would take one thousand years
And in the meantime
She will take care of herself
She will believe in their love,
in herself and in him
She will ground herself firmly
in her house of poetry
where the door is open for him
She will be strong
And will make of every day
the best
She will write, she will dance,
she will sing
with him in her heart
She will allow the sun
to come in
