I’ve fallen into a free verse with you
where untamed words
are kissed on lips,
their meaning tasted
Lines are drawn with fingers on skin
that hunger to write and be written
Ink becomes fluid
Then poetry is made
when bodies rhyme
and find a rhythm
and when outside the form
they climax

This is ingenious, Marieke. I love it. I wish I had written it.

Oh Marieke, I got the wrong smiley. Should have beenna smiling face! I hsd better stay off smileys in future as it relies on you being able to see them. Many apologies. It was a wonderful poem though.

Don’t worry, Lorraine! I know you have problems with your sight and I already understood that you got the wrong smiley ❤️ It’s no problem at all, I got what you meant 💞

I’m sorry… I thought that you could still see a little. It must be extra hard for you as a writer. Then I appreciate even more that you take the effort to read and comment ❤️
